Description
(C. melo var. alwarenis) This red-sapped cucumber is indigenous to Rajasthan, India. The immature fruit is generally longer than 6 inches and is light with dark splotches is crisp, yet somewhat dry, while the mature fruit has a juicy pulp very similar to the Maldives or snap Melon cucumbers. In Hindi they are also called Kachri or Kakri (meaning cucumber). Extraordinarily drought tolerant. 24 Seeds.
