This variety is by far my favorite! Not only is it beautiful to look at, but so very crisp and sweet to the taste. No need to peel, just slice and eat.

Very easy to grow and hardy plants that produce incredible fruits. Great flavor. More than worth the space in the garden.

My Striped Carosello Leccese plants grew well and produced well. The fruit was attractive with its stripes. It had no spines like some cucumbers do, but it did have fuzz on the skin. The texture was crisp and the flavor very mildly sweet. I’ll be growing some again this summer.

We were able to share with our friends many cucumbers that we harvested from the two Striped Carosello Leccese cucumber plants we started. We harvested from summer and into fall. This cucumber was so good everything else pales in comparison. We hope to grow them again next year. Here in north Texas, we two months of 100 degree plus days and this cucumber plant didn’t blink…it kept on producing. Every week we had a good harvest. We appreciate the many varieties of cucumbers that are available at the Cucumber Shop. Jay has some great information and articles he’s written.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Susan. I hope to continue to provide very high quality varieties and improve each variety over time. My best tasting from this year is the Sternatia. Definitely let me know if I can help in any way. -Jay
